Marquardt Village has a decades-long tradition of providing Watertown-area seniors with quality residences and services. Now, a master plan of expansion and redevelopment is underway that is adding new features and improvements to our campus for current and future residents. For active, independent seniors: greatly enhanced amenities and services in a new Towne Centre style addition, plus updated garden homes and apartments. For those who need residential care or assistance: new state-of-the-art centers for assisted living, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing and long-term care.
Residents will enjoy more and better choices for their lifestyle and health care. And our mission to provide area seniors with a caring, faith-based community living experience will live on, far into the future. When complete, our master plan will have enhanced our entire 50-acre campus, including landscaping, gardens, walkways and green spaces that contribute so much to the beauty of Marquardt Village.
PHASE I. Completed in 2014: renovations to common spaces in our Park Centre North and South independent living apartments. Started during Phase I: Parkside Garden Home renovations, as homes were vacated.
PHASE II. New construction, starting in 2015: a Towne Centre style addition that will become the new vital center of campus life for residents and their guests, with gathering spaces for education and entertainment, restaurants, coffee shop, wellness center, library, relocated chapel, and more. A new care center for assisted living and memory care, known as Park Terrace will be constructed, replacing our current Zinzendorf Hall.
PHASE II. Continuing renovations: of independent living apartments in Park Centre North and South and Parkside Garden Homes, as vacated.
PHASE III: new Marquardt Health Center for rehabilitation, skilled nursing and long-term care.
