As a faith-based retirement community, Marquardt Village's sole reason for being is derived from the biblical call to care for one another. All faiths are welcome here, and our pastoral care staff serves residents by promoting and nurturing their spiritual well-being in all that they do. Because 7 dimensions of wellness contribute to overall well-being, the focus is on helping residents feel fulfilled and balanced in the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, intellectual, environmental and occupational.
Our chapel offers welcoming space for worship and other gatherings. More than 30 services and programs are available each month, with many also televised on our chapel channel for residents unable to attend. Marquardt's full-time chaplain, Rev. John Fritts, as well as occasional guest pastors and speakers, offer Protestant and Catholic worship services, weekly rosary and communion, educational sessions, special occasion services, counseling and grief support, pastoral care, and more.
